Teacher Appreciation/End of Year Gift

For the girls' teacher appreciation gifts this year, we created little movie packets with popcorn, movie candy, and a Redbox coupon for a free movie. 

We put together 18 of these gifts so it's important to keep it pretty cost effective. There are so many fun and fancy variations of this gift out there. 

These would also make nice gifts for the end of the year and you could also add in a coupon to an ice cream shop or swap out the Redbox coupon for a movie theater gift card. Always so many options!

Teacher Gifts Christmas 2016

This year for the teacher Christmas gifts (16 total), we decided to give them some chocolates, a hot chocolate stick, a candy cane, and a Starbuck's gift card. I didn't snap the best photos of them, but here they are put together before the girls took them to school. I bought the fun little tags at Target and they worked out perfectly for the gifts.

My niece was just hired for a 4th grade position in Virginia Beach. We were super excited for her and we made a little basket of teacher goodies for her.

Teacher Gifts--Mason Jar Cups

For the end of the school year we chose to give each of Shelly's teachers (seven of them) a mason jar mug and a Dairy Queen gift certificate. 

I found the mugs on sale at Target. They are cute and had several fun summer colors.

Teacher Gifts

One of my favorite things this time of year is putting together a fun little gift for the teachers. This year I found these great 2016 planners at Marshalls for $2.99. I put the planners together with a tasty little treat that I found at Target for $1.00. They are not only yummy but they are packaged in such a fun way. To complete the gifts, I added a Starbucks gift card. I also found these whimsical 12 days of Christmas gift bags at Marshalls. 

We like to give gifts to many of the people at the schools, so I attempt to put together a fun but economical gift. This one was just $9.00 a person. And for the male teachers, we put together a holiday box of chocolates and a Starbucks gift card. Always a good time coming up with new and different teacher gift ideas. 

Appreciating the Teachers

We are passing these little gifts out to Shelly's four classroom teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week. 

The notepads are from Marshall's and then I added a Lindt chocolate bar to each package. 

I found this cute idea for the tag here and created my own version.

 Shelly has some great teachers and I hope they know how much they are appreciated!

Thanksgiving Gift

I put together some quick, easy, and inexpensive gifts for Shelly's four teachers for Thanksgiving. 

We bought some fuzzy soft socks from the Dollar Spot at Target and combined them with a body lotion from the Dollar Tree. This is just a little something to let them know we are thinking of them.

No Tricks Just a Treat

I love to look for teacher gifts at Bath and Body Works. They are now carrying small trays that are cute for jewelry, perfumes, or any little item. I combined the little trays with a bottle of the Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin lotion. An added benefit of buying gifts at Bath and Body Works is that they will put your items together in one of their clear bags tied off with their ribbon. If you need a quick and easy gift for someone this is a great convenience. To finish off the bags, I just made a round sticker tag and placed it right on the front of the bag. These little treats are going to Shelly's four teachers.

Apples for the Teacher

This year for the back to school teacher gift, I put together a little apple gift container for Shelly's homeroom teacher. This is the only gift I'm sending in this year. Lily is heading off to high school and didn't really want to do the teacher gift thing. So, I came up with a few "apple" or red items to go into the container. And then I made a little tag for the front.

Gifting Time

This year the end of the school year gifts for the teachers went a little something like this---

• The 13 "extra" teachers and staff at Shelly's school received a "summery" hand soap from Bath & Body Works along with a small hand sanitizer in a summery scent.

• Shelly's two main teachers received a Visa gift card along with a Simply lemonade bottle and a reusable straw. I found this cute tag to go along with this gift.

• Lily's six teachers and her bus driver received a Cold Stone Creamery gift card packaged with one of their bowls.

They both had so many great teachers and we were happy to thank them with a little something special.
