May Day

Lily goes to a terrific elementary school where they have lots of time honored traditions. One of those is May Day. It is a huge community gathering and all of the students participate in a dance presentation. Each class selects a Lady and a Knight to represent the class in the May Court. This year, Lily was selected for the court and she was a little nervous about it all. She had trouble eating and sleeping for two nights and told us she had butterflies in her stomach. I was so proud of her when she walked out there because I knew what a big deal it was for her. Here are some photos of the May Day celebration:
