Lily’s Birthday

Happy Birthday to Lily. We had a fun family party with dinner out and cat afterwards. Love seeing you grow and become such a happy momma.

Campbell and her sweet family

A beautiful day for my 59th birthday…doughnuts, the beach, and family.

Obsessed with the camera bird feeder. Love seeing my feathered friends each day.

S H E L L Y is 15!

Today is the day that Shelly arrived 15 years ago. Her entrance into the world was a bit dramatic, but filled with tons of love.

She brought so much happiness into our lives and continues to do so every day.

Her spirit is loving and kind and she would do anything for the people she loves.

Shelly has become a brave and strong person over her 15 years. She effortlessly entered high school this year and always strives to do and be her best.

I couldn’t ask for a better young lady in my life. Shelly is a bright and happy rainbow and she radiates love and light.

Shelly/Sofia/Kaden Birthday Celebration

We gathered together at Chick’s for a birthday celebration for Shelly and her cousins, Sofia and Kaden.

After dinner we came back to our house for cake and ice cream. It’s always fun to be able to celebrate with cousins.

October 2018

We kicked off October with Shelly attending the big homecoming game and the homecoming dance. And, she spent time helping to decorate the freshmen hall for homecoming.

Shelly, Fynley and I were at home for a pretty serious and scary storm. We were all up at 1:00 a.m. and slept together downstairs. We are surrounded by so many trees and the wind was very intense. The next morning, the yard was covered in leaves and some major limbs.

I chalked painted the large desk we are using in the dining room as a buffet. I was happy with the outcome.

Shelly and I went to visit Lily at Tech during her fall break. The campus was quiet but we had a great time with Lily. We all loved our quick trip to Roanoke to shop and explore.

Over FaceTime, we included Lily in our birthday celebration for John. Technology is an amazing thing.

On Halloween night, Shelly was a ladybug and I was a bee. We handed out candy at the end of the driveway. John set up our fire pit and put on his creepy old man mask. Fynley wore her rufferee costume once again.
