Memorial Day Weekend---Summer Begins

The girls last day of school was Friday! They were both a little sad to leave their teachers. But, we started things off with a fun pool party at a neighbor's house.

Then it was back home to greet my sister and niece who were coming for the weekend!!! So excited to see them. We shared our "favorite things". Each of us came up with a favorite thing and bought one for the other girls. It was so fun to see what we all got and it was all different---nail polish, body poof, ring holder, notebook, pen, air freshener, cup, and lip gloss.

We ate, swam, played the corn hole game made by my dad (thanks dad!!!), played volleyball, went on a golf cart ride, shopped, and played board games. A super fun time for all of us!!

12th Birthday!

Lily's 12th birthday party was on Friday night. She wanted pink and orange as her colors and she wanted a pool party.

Lily invited 11 girls and they swam, played volleyball (at her new net), took a walk, laughed, sang, opened gifts, ate pizza, and had a cookie cake for dessert. It was a terrific group of girls who all got along and made the party super special for Lily.

Summer's Starting---

After the graduation we headed back home to open some end-of-the-year gifts. Shelly received a book and a little cat ring holder. Lily got many nice cards from friends and family. We got her a school year planner, book, a dancing flower with bee to go along with her "Bee" list, and a t-shirt from her new middle school! She loved the shirt. 


















After gifts, we hustled on over to our neighbor's annual pool party. The girls had a great time splashing the day and part of the night away!
