Christmas Eve Night

Once we are finished at John's sister's house on Christmas Eve, we make the journey back to my dad's home. In my dad's neighborhood there was a neat house filled with lights and the perfect amount of fun for the night of Christmas eve. When we got to my father's, the girls prepared the stockings (made by my mom) and put out the reindeer food. And then it was time for the girls to get all snug in their beds.

Year in Review

Snow in VB

A lovely Christmas was had by all.

We even had a white Christmas on Saturday night.



The snow is deep and everywhere. The girls loved playing in it with their cousins and aunts.

Merry Christmas

A simple message to say Merry Christmas to all who are loved in our lives. And a wish for my mother---I pray that you are warm, safe, and happy spending this holiday with Jesus, your parents, Mini, and Lucy. Know that you are spending it with all of us in our hearts. You are missed and loved.

Cookie Party

Our friends had a fun cookie decorating party last week. The girls love hanging out with their friends and the added bonus of sweets made the gathering even better.

Snowmen & Snowladies

This little craft was inspired by the lady at one of my favorite blogs. Our advent activity this day was to create a Christmas craft. So we assembled the supplies and got ready to make an ornament for the tree.





I love how they turned out. So cute and a great keepsake.

Gingerbread Home

We got busy on the advent calendar activity---decorate a gingerbread house. Lily had the piping of the icing down and they both added the embellishments and made their little house a home!










Daddy came along and decided Lily needed a little decorating of her own.
