Pregnancy and Pickleball

 In July, we returned to Smith Mountain Lake and it was a fun time with family. In August, my sister and I headed to Delaware to be with our sister, Kathy. She was hospitalized with stomach issues and they found that she had cancer. This would be our last time with her and I’m so grateful for the time with her. It was filled with laughs and sister jokes. I miss my funny and music loving sister, but I know she’s safely with my mom and dad.

I had my fifth breast surgery and this time it was a revision surgery. Things went well. 

John loves pickleball and has improved so much in such a short amount of time.

In July, Lily continued working as a babysitter and drove children to their activities. Shelly was hard at work with her online Health and PE class.

Lily took a bus trip to NYC with her friends and saw some Broadway shows.

We went to Smith Mountain Lake and really liked the condo where we stayed this year. We rented a boat and brought Fynley along for all the fun. From there, Lily and I drove to VA Tech for her orientation. We learned so much about what was ahead of her after all of the meetings and discussion sessions.

We loved days at the beach and on the jet ski. Time with friends and time as a family of four.

Smith Mountain Lake

We took a week long vacation with John's family and went to Smith Mountain Lake. It was such a good time. Lots of tubing, boating, fishing, jet skiing, and eating!!! Fun, fun, fun!!!

Smith Mountain Lake

This past weekend we went to Smith Mountain Lake. John's family came with us and we rented a boat and a tube for the day. The weather was great and we had a super time tubing, boating, eating good food, and floating in the water. It was the perfect weekend activity!
