Nails, a Cat, and a Dress Form

There's nothing more fun, when you're 12, than to spend a Saturday evening doing your nails.

About a month ago we found a dress form for Lily's room. It has been so much fun to style her outfits on it and it's even cute when it's just holding her purse.

I also found a cute bulletin board to put next to it. I thought it would be fun for Lily to post her magazine inspirations on it. But, I love the other idea she had for it...to hang her long necklaces along with the magazine images. She's a clever girl.

Pedi Time

The girls and I got a pedicure the other day. We all chose bright neon colors for our toes and asked them to paint flowers on our big toes. A good pedicure is a great way to begin the week!

Nail Colors

So, in an attempt to make some changes, I have been painting my fingernails every 3 or 4 days. I hadn't done my nails in years---about 10 to be exact. Since Lily's birth, I just stopped doing my nails. Recently, I decided to file my nails with a rounded square nail and then I thought---wow, I think they'd look better with some nail polish on them. So, here are a few of the colors I have used of late. I am liking the Ulta polishes. Spring has some great nail polish colors arriving. That makes me happy!!!
