Whale
In late November, a whale came up on the shore of the bay. She was removed by the local aquarium's volunteers and Lily and I went to the bay to watch them working. It was a sad but amazing experience to be that close to such a large animal.

Catching Up
My posts will probably be a bit random as I attempt to update. So, let's get started.
John and Shelly went on an epic bike ride all over Virginia Beach back in October.

The girls are both very into photography and went to the bay to take some really fun photos of one another.
Lily was involved in the City Wide SCA Elementary Leadership Workshop in early November. She loved participating and did a great job encouraging and leading the younger leaders.

The Bay at Sunset
After dinner the other night we all went to the beach for a walk. It was a beautiful evening at the bay. The sun was just setting and the light on the water was so beautiful! It really gave us all a little boost. Love being near the bay, the ocean, and the beach.
