I have had some really great days, lately. Saturday afternoon Lily had her football game to cheer for and it was so beautiful outside. A perfect day to watch little girls and pom poms. Then John came home and told us to pack our bags. So, 30 minutes later, we were in the car heading south. We spent the night in Monroe, NC and woke up on Sunday to travel 30 more minutes to Carowinds. The girls absolutely loved the time we spent there. Shelly flipped over Dora and Lily said, "this has been the best day of my life." Today, Lily was out of school for a teacher's workday. So, we stayed in pajamas until almost noon, took a trip to Bath & Body Works for my BUNCO gift (for tonight) and then out to lunch at Jay's Deli. Just a simple and sweet couple of days.
