Works for Me Wednesday

Here is a nifty little idea I came up with yesterday while shopping at Target. I was on the look out for a few little things for the girls' stockings. I ran across a couple of gift sets for $5.99 each. They contained about 6-9 items and I decided I would take the kits apart and wrap the items individually. This is way more cost effective than purchasing each of the items separately. The Hannah Montana one is the one I got for Lily and the princess kit is similar to the one I got Shelly. For more good ideas check out Rocks in My Dryer.

  2. Nice idea and unwrapping five gifts is so much more fun than unwrapping just one... Merry Christmas!

  4. What department in Target?

You should've heard my 7y/o. She asked if it was our blog that made the post about the HM stuff. She thought she had found something she was getting for CMas. : )

    It will be now!

  5. GOOD idea! I am looking for inexpensive stocking stuffers for my dear husband. I'll give this a shot -- but not with the Hannah Montana stuff. ;)

  6. this is a great idea! my mom does this for gifts for random friends and neighbors around the holidays with things from costco... often you can find a set of 12 individually wrapped soaps or lotions or candles or whatever and then you can take the set apart and re wrap the indivudual pieces in pretty celophane and ribbon and make cute little gifts.
