1. Lily was selected for Student Council from her class. We had talked about Student Council over the summer and she was so excited to tell me she was now a part of it.
2. As mentioned in a previous post, I have downloaded a trial version of Photoshop and have already given it a go. I'm eager to see how I can improve the look of my images once I work with it.
3. Lily signed up for Brownies today. She is super excited to go to the bi-monthly meetings and I am excited to see how much has changed since I was a little Brownie.
4. I won something!!! I ordered this fabulous calendar from erin condren designs and really wanted to get the life planner, but it was all a bit out of my price range.Tonight I received a gift from this terrific company! Apparently I was a winner in the $50 category. So, off I went to order my life planner! Yippy.
5. Shelly had a great day at preschool. Once again, she entered the room with a bit of apprehension but the teachers quickly swooped her up and made me feel relaxed about leaving her. She even told me she made a new friend on the playground. A good day indeed.
And really, isn't it the little things that make us all a little happier???
Karol, have you ever tried Photoshop Elements? It's my understanding it's fairly simliar in many ways to PS? We have both and I think Elements is easier. It doesn't do the prepress or professional printing stuff, but I am thinking you don't necesarily need it. PS is expensive and elements is not.
ReplyDeleteWell, all of this is GREAT to hear. It made me smile! :)
