This Makes Me Laugh

The girls got their Spring portraits back recently and I just had to post them here. Lily looks like quite the fashion plate with her jazzy scarf wrapped around her neck. I like her coy little grin and her pretty heart necklace.

Shelly got her Pre-K photo along with her graduation picture. This picture of her in the floral dress captures her innocent and shy smile. Love it.

And wow, that grad picture makes me laugh so hard. She looks a little bewildered in this picture. Does she understand that all of this fun preschool stuff is coming to an end in just 3 weeks??? That grad photo will one day be proudly displayed alongside her high school graduation picture. Won't that be fun?

And just as a little something else to make you laugh, here I am at age four preparing for my first day of preschool at Tinsy Bear in Kodiak, Alaska. I love the surrounding scenery in this picture. You can see the World Book Encyclopedias, National Geographics, the record albums below that, and the bells hanging from the mantel...very very vivid memories for me. Oh, and don't you just love the all turquoise ensemble???
