Ice Ice Baby

On Thursday and Friday the girls were out of school because of snow and ice. I had made arrangements to go see a lady about a little kitten in Charlotte (about two hours south of us). So, John nicely took us all on a drive south that was filled with many accidents on the highway. After our drive, John did some work and the girls and I were in the car for quite some time. So when we got to his office, they begged to get out of the car and "skate" on the ice on the sidewalk. John agreed. And they acted silly and had a great time playing on the sidewalk ice while I snapped photos from the warmth and safety of the car.


Fun times were had until Shelly fell and hurt her hand. But, Lily stayed on and played a little longer. Oh, and the kitten we drove two hours to see was not to be.
