Random Ramblings (things that float through my head):

• My dad is doing well and got a good report from his eye doctor today.
• I am so thrilled that I taught Lily how to do the laundry last summer. It came in handy this morning when I needed her to put the load of towels in the dryer from the washer.
• Since I haven’t been out to get a suntan, I’ve been relying on my favorite sunless tanner---Jergens Natural Glow. Love it, but don’t love the smell.
• Oh, and I finally found a type of bra I like from Victoria’s Secret. It’s part of the Incredible line of bras.
• I have been slowly but surely phasing myself off of Facebook. I am noticing other people seem to be doing the same. I see less and less when it comes to updating status and photo posting. I think the blog is a better outlet for me.
• I have already created the favors for Lily’s birthday party. So glad to have that taken care of early.
• I am prepared for the teacher luncheon that will take place on the 2^nd of May. It will be full of flowers and all things flowery.
• I am thankful that my sister was able to be with my dad these last few days and help him with the eye surgery.
• We have four girls in the family who will graduate in May and June---two in college, one in high school, and Lily from elementary!
• I am enjoying the Bethenny Frankel show on Bravo. She is seemingly very real.
• I created a cute invitation for Lily’s party and guess what???? She wanted to create her own invitation. So, who I am to tell her no. :)
• I think of my mother so much. It seems that every time I see a rainbow she is right there with me. Love you, mom.
• I have several books lined up to read. Now to just start reading them…Stori Telling  and Look Again.
