Pennsylvania

Last week I drove nine hours by myself to Pennsylvania for my Aunt Sue's funeral service. My sisters, father, and brother-in-law were all there to remember my aunt. It was also so nice to see where my mother rests. I miss her so much.

We also used that time to clean out her home. As we cleaned, packed, and prepared her items we came across photos and treasures that were so special. It was a weekend of many emotions and we were all worn out by the end of our time there.

I got in the car on Monday to make the nine hour trip home. I must say, I was pretty proud of myself and my solo drive. I wasn't overly excited about getting in the car alone to drive so far, but I did it and I felt good about it once it was over.
My favorite chair at Aunt Sue's house
I have memories of sitting in that chair with my grandpa

The chair is now in my home with a sweet little kitty enjoying it
That's a comforting feeling
