Wow!!! Lily and I returned yesterday late afternoon from the mountain trip. It was three fun-filled jam packed days in the mountains. Her elementary school offers several fun trips to their students. Last year, we went on the beach trip and this year we were off to the mountains of North Carolina. So fun and really interesting. We visited an old fort, went to a trout hatchery, learned about forests, rode on the Smoky Mountain train, visited Cherokee, went gem mining, made pottery, and hiked in the mountains. I can't get over how much the teachers are willing to do for their students. We are so thankful for them and feel like Lily receives an exclusive education in a public school...can't beat that!!!
