Change is Good???

Today is the day after the presidential election of 2008. Since this is my blog and my place to document my reality and history, I wanted to post about the election results. President-elect Obama may not have been my choice of leaders, but I will hope for the best and put faith in him to lead our country to a better place. I captured the image on my homepage and wanted to keep it here for me to remember what the world was looking for in November of 2008. I hope we find it.

  1. No matter what, you Americans are great and have the knack of getting behind your new Commander in Chief, whether you voted for them or not... and that is a wonderful trait for a country to have. There is time to heal your divides and work together... Carmen is right and time will tell.

Oh and for the record, I have always been a McCain fan as well... I really think he would have also been a fine President for the US but when I spoke on my blog I was also conveying a sense of what the world would like to see for America! You had two excellent candidates to choose from and are very lucky! Democracy, as my son says, is "way cool" isn't it?

Thanks for visiting my blog and for the nice comments, friend!

  2. Excellent post, Karol. Obama was not my candidate of choice either, but I hope I too can adopt your great attitude about it. I'm already coming around, to a better attitude about it, SLOWLY. Hey, I'm finally able to talk about it, right? :o)
