500

Wow, I just noticed that this is my 500th post according to the stats. Cool. Are you all bored with me, yet?

Honestly, there are days that life isn't all sunshine and rainbows and I hope that I can show that here from time to time, too. But, I also don't like to be a big ol' downer. So I try to avoid too much of the negative.

Here is a little of what has been going through my head these days:

I love the connections I've been making on Facebook. If you know me and want to be my friend there, please look me up and let's be friends!!!

I am hoping to complete the majority of the Christmas shopping tomorrow.

Today the girls and I went to Target and purchased items for a little angel boy. Lily's class picked a little boy and we bought him all kinds of fun things. It was a ton of fun and the girls made such great choices.

John and I had a nice little date night on Friday. Great to laugh and chat as adults.

We took the girls out for a drive last night to check out the lights. We had to wake up Shelly when we got there...she was fast asleep. Then we went to the cafeteria for dinner and met a 90 year-old woman who chatted with us for quite a long time.

This will be Lily's last week of dance. She has made the decision to stop for now. Perhaps she will one day go back to it. Whatever she decides works for me.

Shelly's 5th birthday party is planned. She is super excited about it all. I am in shock that she is turning 5. She seems like my little baby still.

A new bookstore opened and I am heading there tomorrow to check out what they might have for the girls.

John and I don't exchange gifts at Christmas. It is one of the greatest gifts we've ever given one another...truly.

If you are into astrology, you'll know that the full moon really played tricks on us all for several days leading up to it and a bit after. Soon, I believe things will readjust and get better. I hope so.
