Art Submissions

Lily's school is starting an Art Club and she has decided to take a stab at it. To be one of the 25 participants, the student must draw a self portrait, a picture of their choice, and write a paragraph explaining why they want to become a member. Lily has worked for several days on this project. She has crumpled up many of her self portraits and tossed them away and I am proud of her for sticking with it. Art has never really been her strong suit, so I think this could be a potentially great opportunity to improve her confidence. Although, I suppose it could also squelch every little desire she has for ever becoming an artist. Let's hope for the former. Here are her submissions:
