More Christmas

Some more Christmas happenings at our house. We decorated the trees this past weekend and I thought the Littlest Pet Shop tree was fun. They even added a little animal scene around the bottom of the tree. I also have a couple of photos of the girls' trees in their rooms. It is difficult to get very accurate photos of the trees for some reason (I'm guessing it's camera operator error). One of the activities in the advent calendar was to make and decorate cookies. We used this terrific cookie recipe and then iced them with canned frosting, as well as, a yummy confectioner's sugar glaze (much like my mom's) and some colored sugar. Here are the girls working on their cookies. They really were having fun, although it appears they are being very somber in these pictures.
