Pretty Little Ears

Shelly got her ears pierced. Why did I let my 6 1/2 year old get her ears pierced? Because I was tired of the annoying clip on earrings that end up hurting her ears after just a short period of time. So, instead of investing in more clip-on earrings, I decided to just pierce away. Lily was very enthusiastic about this decision and could hardly wait for us to get Shelly's ears pierced. As a family, we went to Claire's for the big event. Shelly had no idea what we were up to, but she was very happy when she realized. And, she was super brave and only shed a quick couple of tears after the event. Now, we need to clean and turn those earrings for two months.
