Lily's Day

On Lily's 16th birthday, we spent the day together--just the two of us. We shopped at MacArthur Center and had a small lunch. She got a couple of dresses at Nordstrom's and a few items from Target. It was such a nice afternoon together. 

That evening she opened half of her gifts and then we met family at PF Changs for dinner. After dinner, we enjoyed some yummy red velvet cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory at my sister's house. 

After cake, it was back home to open the remaining gifts.  I think she was happy with her presents. Although her day was spent in a slightly different and unusual way for a 16 year old, I still think she enjoyed herself. And I'm so happy to have such a kind, charming, and loving daughter.
