We had a three day weekend and it was awesome. So nice to have some time to re-energize ourselves by sleeping in and doing some fun things.
Even before this three day weekend we had Tuesday off. The girls and I went to MacArthur Center and browsed the shops. Then we met John at Doumar’s for lunch. So yummy and fun.
Over the long weekend, we met up with Krissy and we spent time visiting with my dad. Krissy came over and we pulled out a favorite game, Catan, and introduced it to Krissy.
On Saturday, John had some morning basketball games to referee. The girls got some school work done and then we all went to Sam’s Club, Target, and out for an early dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. It was chilly out and fun to come back home and relax while we watched, Baby Driver. I was surprised that I actually liked the movie.
Sunday was definitely a pajama day. In the very late afternoon, we finally got ourselves together to buy a couple things at Walmart and then we headed to JoAnn Fabrics so that Shelly could purchase a few sewing supplies for some secret Christmas gifts. Lily met us and we went to Moe’s for dinner.
We are back to a full week of school, but only 2 1/2 days next week before the Thanksgiving Break! Yay!
