If someone comes to the door at two o'clock in the afternoon and sees you in your pajama bottoms and says, "Oh no! What's wrong?" you just say contentedly, "Nothing. Everything is so, so very right." Loved this quote and found it on this site. So had to share it.

Next, ready for this...it is currently about 35 degrees and a beautiful sun is just now setting...not a drop of moisture in the sky and they have already cancelled school for tomorrow!!!! So funny. Nothing like the South to cancel school before any ice, snow, sleet, or even rain has fallen. Beautiful!!! Sleeping in and cooking and scrapping is in order for tomorrow.

I have been on a "real" paper scrapping roll lately. Trying to use some inspiration from articles, books, magazines, and my own digi scrapping. Fun!

Today, Shelly and I hit Chik-fil-A (oh, I wasn't aware until recently that this food establishment was not all over the country...anyway) and met John there for some lunch. Then off to Staples and finally Harris Teeter to stock up on groceries for this alarmingly huge storm we are expecting...tons of sarcasm there.

Well, it isn't a post without a photo. So, here you go. Just some ordinary moments around our house:
Like mother like Daughter
Playing School at Home
Sleeping with her Baby Doll

  1. My daughter Katherine (she teaches Kindergarten at Rural Hall Elementary) called to tell me about no school tomorrow. I couldn't imagine them doing that. WOW! I hope we do get some. It looks like our best chance so far this year. Enjoy your day... either way!
