Wow, the first day of August. Just so hard to believe that the summer is going by so quickly. We have 26 days until Lily goes back to school and it makes me so sad to think about. That also means that we'll be back to schedules and routine (two things I thrive on) but I am not so sure I am ready for real bedtimes and homework, again.

Yesterday, Lily did some dog sitting at our house for a sweet little 8 week old puppy. She did a great job with her, but it reminded me of exactly why I'm not ready for a dog any time soon. The hermit crab and fish are just fine for us, now. Here are some sweet photos of the adorable puppy who came to visit:

And, Lily is off at Carowinds with her friend. I am eager to see her come walking through the door. Shelly and I were good little shopping buddies today. Fun, but we missed our pal.
